Halo 101 Movement Detector

The Halo wireless Motion Detector has a multitude of uses within the connected home. Multiple Movement Detectors can be added to your Halo home security starter kit to enhance your home security or monitor any areas of the home which may require additional care. Home security

The wireless Movement Detector is designed to identify motion within the area it protects. When added to your Halo home security system you can benefit from added security and greater coverage so you can monitor for motion more thoroughly throughout your home. Typically the Movement Detector is associated with your conventional intruder alarm - triggering an alarm if movement is detected whilst the alarm is set.

Pet friendly

The sensor has been designed to filter out the movement of pets weighing up to 27kg, the average domestic cat or dog will not generate an alarm. It is important to note however that the pet friendly area is close to the ground, pets climbing on furniture could still potentially trigger an alarm.

Caring for loved ones such as the elderly and children

When connected to the Halo Care service the Movement Detector can be used to look for movement even when the alarm is not set. This means that you can track all movement at all times and set up your monitoring service to notify you of events that you deem important. For example, you might wish to know if an elderly relative has not left the bedroom after 10am.
